Use your body if you are too shy to talk too much. Attitudes, simple shoulder movements may be enough. Your smile is something alive.
Your friends are pushing you. They tell you now is the right time. But you are too shy and you can't do it. It is not a disease, but sometimes it can be a traumatic condition. You can't help it. It's stronger than you. Pull yourself together; there is always something to do. Regain self-confidence.
You “own” your shyness. It is yours, it is in you. You are still confident in your shyness. It's kind of your strength. Use it. A shy person doesn't look bad in front of the opposite sex. Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses.
Being shy in conversations is never easy. You are not stupid. You have some education and knowledge. Others are eager to listen to you. Speak, open up. Ask questions. It's the best way to show that you care about others.
Be aware that your shyness can also be your strength. By listening to them, you seem to be in control. Body language is one of the most powerful forms of communication. People of the opposite sex will observe you, study you. They are not looking for someone to be direct, but someone they can trust.
Use your body if you are too shy to talk too much. Attitudes, simple shoulder movements may be enough. Your smile is something alive. The smile expresses more than all your state of mind. So show your interlocutors that you feel good in their company.
Don't leave regrets behind. You risk nothing, except a refusal. If you don't strike up a conversation with someone you like, you'll never know if you've missed an opportunity. So take a deep breath, count to ten and go for it.
