We can never say it enough and still no real solutions have been put in place by our leaders. But keep in mind that the future of our country depends on Education.
Unfortunately, good education is disappearing in Senegal.
At the public level, teachers are constantly on strike for financial reasons. When they take a break, students take over, and often for the same reasons.
The private school system has become corrupt and poorly organized. Degrees are awarded according to the financial means of the student; the concept of merit does no longer matter according to some teachers, therefore, no money, no degree.
A good part of the population prefers to fall back on easy “solutions”: begging, struggle, disguised or blatant prostitution, singing, aggression, etc.
Senegalese, we are sleeping. Let's not do like our leaders. Let’s wake up, there is so much more important to do.
Let’s not wait for the bomb to explode, because it’s through education that the development of a country begins with a mindset change.
