Are you aware that we are responsible for our suffering?
You have an intelligence to distinguish the positive from the negative, the collective interest from the personal interest. Then use your intelligence to save your country, to save Africa.Updated on October 21, 2020, Jolof
Are you aware that nobody will come to take care of the development neither of our country Senegal, nor of Africa our continent?
Are you aware that Africa is the richest continent in natural resources, but remains the poorest continent?
Are you aware that the wealth of many multinational agro-food, mining, oil, etc... come from Africa. Yet Africa continues to remain the poorest continent on earth.
Are you aware that the investments of our leaders in Western countries are helping to reduce unemployment in these countries? Yet the unemployment rate continues to climb in Senegal and Africa in general.
Are you really aware of all the evils from which Senegal and Africa in general suffer and which are worsening day by day?
Yet you are responsible for all these evils. We are all responsible.
We are responsible for trusting leaders who were manipulated by the former settler and who only think about their personal interests.
We are all responsible for selling our votes during elections for personal gain.
And may we all be responsible, tomorrow we will be the main victims when the “volcano” awakens. Because as long as underdevelopment persists in our country, insecurity will worsen and we will pay for this situation we have caused.
This situation has already happened in Senegal. But let's not wait for it to get worse. Let everyone take their responsibilities now. Let everyone think about the consequences of these acts.
So, start with yourself.
Be patriotic and think about the future of your country first. Opt for Senegal and Africa, because the inter-Senegalese and inter-African partnership will contribute to the development of Senegal and Africa.
Show solidarity and help your Senegalese and African brother. It won't be about feeding him, but helping him to stop needing your help tomorrow.
Do no longer vote for personal interests. Think about the future of your country when it comes to choosing your candidate in elections. Ignore and condemn the food the politician gives you to buy for your vote because tomorrow you will starve when he has what he wants.
Do not accept that the foreigner and the former settler impose their rules on you in your country and in your continent. Senegal is your country. Africa is your continent. Only your rules matter. The foreigner must comply.
You have an intelligence to distinguish the positive from the negative, the collective interest from the personal interest. Then use your intelligence to save your country, to save Africa.
So act now and think beyond the talk.
