The practice of Islam and the hypocrisy of the Senegalese

Between God and the Senegalese Hypocrisy

The first pillar of Islam is that there are no gods other than God, yet Senegal is the country where we see a “Marabout” (Religious Chief) who says he has more than 10 million disciples declaring that such and such a person is God. This same “Marabout” is qualified as God by his followers who openly proclaim him. Who says nothing, agrees. Strangely, the few rare people who talk about it, are attacked by the followers who retort: “You are too small to defend Islam. God can do it Himself.” Or, we tax them to criticize for the sake of criticizing. “You are arguing, they say. You don't have an objective position.”

Sometimes you look down on someone just for smoking, mistreat someone for drinking alcohol and humiliate someone for being gay. But when a “Marabout” creates other gods besides God, we are told to shut up because we have no control over what we are talking about. Yet no one is told: “You are too small to fight homosexuals because God can do it Himself.”
